  • Host your business in one of two incubators: the Germantown Innovation Center (GIC) and the Rockville Innovation Center (RIC), managed by BHI, with features that include turn-key office space, wet lab space, shared kitchenette, flexible lease obligations, and access to the BHI team and its network of partners who hold office hours at the incubators.
  • Introduce you to additional resources throughout the region who can help you find the space you need to establish/expand your biohealth business, R&D, or manufacturing operations.

BioHealth Innovation’s International Soft-Landing Program assists foreign companies entering the U.S. market with client relationships varying based upon individual company requirements. BHI can assist those seeking US non-dilutive funding through the establish of a US subsidiary in which BHI has minor control (see A below) and/or by providing any of the other support listed in B-G below.  Depending upon the Scope of Work, these services may be offered on a per project/hourly basis with equity sometimes provided in consideration for BHI support. 

  • Use tools provided through BHI partner, TEDCO, to refine your business plan with data on competition, related patent/regulatory findings, market opportunity (consultants excluded). Databases included at the GIC are: Frost & Sullivan, Global Data - Medical eTrack, Global Data - Pharma eTrack.

  • Create the brand, design and collateral for your company, products or services.
  • Provide guidance regarding marketing of FDA regulated products.
  • Promote your products, services, research/collaboration opportunities.
  • Meet potential collaborators, customers, investors and board members through our networking events and with BHI partners.
  • Develop the best strategy to achieve regulatory approval and compliance.
  • Provide pre and post market risk assessment and mitigation services.
  • Work with the CRO’s with the greatest experience with patients addressed by your product and/or target market.
  • Develop strategies to obtain payment in your target markets.
  • Demonstrate how your product improves outcomes and lowers costs for payers.
  • Identify existing codes or obtain new codes for reimbursement.
