Jon Nelson
Senior Life Science Business Strategist and Program Manager
Jon Nelson has joined the BioHealth Innovation team, bringing 9 years of research experience within the biological sciences. Jon obtained his Master’s degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he used bioinformatics to predict the efficacy of epigenetic drugs. He then went on to explore neuropeptides, neural circuits, and behavior during his PhD work in the Biology Department at Wake Forest University. Prior to joining BHI, Jon volunteered in a clinical research lab investigating neural prosthetics and enjoyed working as a patent engineer at a medical device / pharmaceutical startup.
