A year after the foundation of GQC, an internal start-up of the Group focused on medical cannabis therapy solutions, Gilda D’Incerti - CEO and Founder of the company – is now dedicating her interest to FemTech (Female Technology) and the so-called SHEconomy: these primary market trends forecast tremendous growth in terms of profit and growth in the next decade, accelerating drug development for women’s health and well-being.
For the above reason and to better support the clinical operations in this market niche, PQE Group is formally entering the early development stages of new medicine discoveries by launching its own CRO (Clinical Research Organization), named ReSQ-UP, which will be fully dedicated to the execution of observational studies, pre- and post-marketing clinical investigations, and interventional clinical trials (Phase I and II) on innovative products belonging to the sector of women’s health and mainly covering new biotech, medical device and medical cannabis-based products.
This new medical arm of PQE Group will be managed by Doctor Moshe Hod, the newly appointed Chief Medical Advisor and part of the PQE Advisory Board. Dr. Hod is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Faculty of Medicine, Tel-Aviv University, Israel, and he is a member and the past Chair of the International Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecology (FIGO) Pregnancy and Non Communicable Disease Committee (PNCDC) and a past member of FIGO’s Board of Directors.
