sfaxlogo250The long-awaited grand opening of the Sfax University Simulation Center has finally arrived, marking a new era of innovative learning and development in Sfax, Tunisia. The cutting-edge center promises to provide a hub for experiential learning, creating a springboard for high-potential projects to flourish. In the run-up to the opening, the team at the Simulation Center, supported by Johns Hopkins University,  held a series of fruitful meetings with local stakeholders. During these sessions updates were shared, and attendees were encouraged to submit their high potential projects for consideration, initiating direct engagement with the local community.

 

Notably, the opening ceremony was graced by the presence of a diverse team of experts committed to fostering innovation in the region. Ian Proctor from the UK, a BioHealth Innovation, Inc. (BHI) consultant, attended the event alongside Alec Hansen, Yosra Karoui, and Kawthar Ayedi from Fhi 360. Their collective expertise added strength to the occasion, reinforcing the event’s significance for Sfax’s technological and economic development.

This grand opening also signals a new phase in the collaboration between BHI and Fhi 360, who are partnering in the development of a Technology Transfer and Commercialization Center in Sfax. This partnership promises to leverage BHI’s extensive experience in fostering BioHealth innovations and Fhi 360’s renowned expertise in human development, delivering an impactful contribution to Tunisia’s progress toward becoming a global player in the Life Science industry.
